The New Defy Sports Website Is Live — Here's What's Changed

We've been building something behind the scenes for a while now, and today it's finally here. The new Defy Sports website is live at defy.ie, and it's been rebuilt from the ground up to make ordering your club kit faster, cleaner, and more straightforward than ever before.

A Website Built Around How Clubs Actually Order

The old site did the job, but we knew it could do more. Clubs told us they wanted to get to the right product faster, understand the process more clearly, and have a single place to manage everything from initial enquiry to kit delivery. That feedback shaped every decision we made on this rebuild.

The new site is built around sport-specific landing pages — so whether you're ordering LGFA jerseys, rugby kits, soccer teamwear, or athletics gear, you land in the right place immediately. Each sport page walks you through the product range, the customisation options, and how to get a quote, without having to dig through a generic catalogue.

Club Shops Are Front and Centre

One of the biggest additions to the new site is the Club Shops section. If your club already has a dedicated Defy shop, you can find it directly through the Find Your Club search on the homepage or in the navigation. Type your club name and you're taken straight to your shop — no searching, no scrolling.

If your club doesn't have a shop yet, the new site makes it easy to get one set up. The Setup Your Shop page explains exactly how it works and what's involved.

Kit Builder, Workwear, and More

The Kit Builder is now easier to access from anywhere on the site, letting clubs visualise their colours and customisation options before committing to an order. The Workwear section has also been expanded, reflecting the growing demand from clubs and organisations for branded workwear alongside their playing kit.

The blog — Kit Talk — is where we'll be sharing kit inspiration, club stories, product updates, and news from the Irish sports scene. This is the first post, but there's plenty more to come.
